Mouthwatering Palacio de Menade is a very special white that even seasoned tasters mistake for the Loire's finest Sauvignon. "Palacio de Menade has a fine, cool vibrancy that'll appeal to those who relish Sancerre" (Victoria Moore, The Guardian).
The previous vintage scooped a Gold and Best White of Show Trophy in Spain. And the 2006, on the back of a terrific vintage, exudes the same show-stealing quality that will no doubt dazzle judges all over again.
A splash of purest Sauvignon Blanc adds a delicious citrus 'zip' and fine gooseberry aromas, while intensely refreshing local speciality Verdejo - "the wine's secret weapon" says Hugh Johnson - gives all-important weight and length. A gorgeous aperitif.
